JCI Aklan Kalantiao’s “Old Gear New Career” Program is a targeted initiative that addresses the pressing needs of graduating students, aligning their skills with industry expectations and increasing their chances of employment. OGNC Project was created for the following cause:

•  Provide underprivileged students with job interview attire lending services. By ensuring these students have appropriate clothing for interviews, the project significantly enhances their chances of success in securing employment.
•  Equip students with vital skills in crafting compelling application letters, resumes, and excelling in job interviews. These valuable skills not only boost their confidence but also increase their prospects of securing desirable employment opportunities.
•  In the long run, the chapter aspires to establish an employment hub that caters to the needs of the people of Aklan. This envisioned hub aims to streamline the job search process, making it more efficient and accessible for individuals seeking employment in the region.

This endeavor strongly aligns with the mission of JCI RISE, which is to provide support and open pathways to a better life for the underprivileged.
